Finally writing up my trip in 2019
It is about 8 hours by train from Bologna to Ostuni. So a rest day to watch the world go by. A lot of it was by the coast and quite glorious.
Ostuni is a hilltop town, its train station at the bottom but a quick taxi ride up with a taxi driver who knew exactly where to go and who to find to get me to my Airbnb apartment soon saw me settle into my divine lodgings for the next few nights.
This southern part of Italy is a lot like Greece, with a lot of white, and a lot of steps.
The rest of my first evening was spent exploring in wide eyed wonder this gorgeous city.
An exciting few days ahead.
