A Concert in Sainte Chapelle

Finally writing up my 2019 trip

OMG
Not only did I visit Sainte Chapelle, one of the most beautiful buildings in Paris, for the second time, I also experienced a concert of classical music while sitting and staring at the incredible stained glass, as it changed appearance as the sun went down.

This is bucket list stuff of the highest order.

The concert was all violins. The musicians were fabulous and the setting incredible.

Afterwards I was able to linger and take photos of the chapel as it emptied out, an empty Sainte Chapelle to photograph, it doesn’t get much better than that.

What a day.

Day one Paris. Done.

Or not.

Still daylight and time to find food. I found a delightful little restaurant not far from my hotel. And ordered steak tartare, because Paris.

OK, done now. That was quite a day.
